I remembeer a while sgo, someone posted about packing clothes with tissue paper.  I am travelling Monday and wanted to use this method but:  do you fold the clothes then wrap in tissue paper or use the tissue paper as you fold the clothes?   Any other hints?  I am trying to pack everything in 1 suitcase, which will be a first for me. Vacation 2 Thanks in Advance Sheryl

I think it may have been me!  Before our October cruise...anyway, if not- my SIL gave me that tip....and I used if to pack my stuff for the cruise and it worked lovely.  You just fold the clothes and then wrap them in the tissue.  At least, that is how I did it!  And whenever we go down to San Diego and I dont want to take a bunch of suitcases, I roll all my stuff.  I literally got my two youngest things all rolled up in one of those small suitcases with a weeks worth (probably more) of clothes. I also got all of my stuff into one of those little bags with plenty of room to spare for my hairdryer, toiletries, etc....  And I had some sweaters and some sweatshirts. Hope this helps!  Have fun, wherever you are going!!

Roll stuff, you ever tried to roll a 5 or 6X....it looks like a larger than life beach towel rolled and there is NO room.  I can't wait to try rolling now!  We always have to take 2 suitcases if Dougie brings more than one pair of shoes, just where the heck do you find room when they are 15EEEE!!! Hope you have fun Cheryl, and Vicki, my Vicki kisses you back

Thanks Vicki, I thought it was you who had posted.  If I can get all my stuff in one suitcase, that will be a first.  At least most of my clothes are Chico's travel wear so I am keeping my fingers crossed.  Never have I packed in one suitcase, NEVER.  Being a smaller size is a definate plus. I am heading to Dallas on Monday for 2 weeks of training.  Yippeee. NOT Thanhs again Sheryl

Hi Honey! My daughter and I used to use the tissue - then, we used the rolled method.  Now we pack our things in giant zip lock bags- one to two gallon bags, and squeeze out all the air.  Wow - we can almost pack all of our stuff for Cabo or Cancun for two weeks in a small suitcase together.  And . . . it keeps the grubby hands of the inspectors all of our stuff. (I hate the thought of someone pawing through my clothes!) I put all the undies and bras in one, skirts in one,  t-shirts in one, etc!  It's great.  No one has ever opened any of them cuz you can feel that nothing is inside. And . . . nothing wrinkles!! Have a great trip!  I'll miss you, lots. JudyAnne
